Abstract
Extracapsular cataract extractions and posterior chamber intraocular l ens implantations combined with glaucoma-filtering procedures were don in 32 eyes in black patients with coexisting cataract and glaucoma. P atients were followed up for a minimum of 25 months. Intraocular press ure reduction and visual acuity improvement results were similar to th ose previously reported in white patients.
