Abstract
The biologically interesting cyclic amino acid, (+)-(2S)-2-aminobicycl o[2.2.2]octane-2-carboxyclic acid, has been synthesized from the Diels -Alder adduct of enzoyl-4-methylidene-2-phenyl-1,3-oxazolidin-5-one 1 and cyclohexa-1,3-diene.
