Abstract
Chloro (diisopropylamino) phosphanylium cation 1 reacts with 4,6-O-ben zylidene - D-allal 2 to give regioselectively phosphonylated sugar 3. The cation 1 also reacted with 2-enopyranoside 6 to give phosphonylate d sugar 7.
