Abstract
Since being described in 1964,(1) percutaneous transluminal balloon an gioplasty has developed an increasingly important role in the manageme nt of vascular stenoses and occlusions. In this study we examine the r esults of percutaneous transluminal angioplasties performed for sympto matic peripheral vascular disease in a district general hospital.
