Abstract
Enthalpy increments for Ti5Si3(cr) were measured from 4.5 K to 350 K w ith an adiabatic calorimeter. From a representation of these measureme nts the enthalpy relative to 0 K, the entropy, and the heat capacity o f Ti5Si3(cr) to 350 K were calculated. Values of the Debye temperature , Theta(D), and the coefficient for the heat capacity of the conductio n electrons, gamma(el), were determined from the model. Thermodynamic properties for formation from the elements at 298.15 K were also given . Our previous value of Theta(D) for TiSi2 was revised due to improvem ent in the method of representation.
