Em. Grinberg et al., EFFECT OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF TREATMENT ON THE MECHANICAL-PROPERTIES OF BORON-CONTAINING STEELS FOR COLD DIE FORGING, Metal science and heat treatment, 37(9-10), 1995, pp. 353-355
Widening of the production of industrial holders and fasteners made of
boron-containing steels and the absence of clearly formulated recomme
ndations on regimes of their heat treatment that would ensure a specif
ied level of operating properties require the development of scientifi
cally substantiated approaches to the solution of this problem. The ef
ficiency of fasteners and holders is determined by a combination of th
eir mechanical properties. A change in the heat treatment regime affec
ts each characteristic differently, which complicates experimental det
ermination of optimum heat treatment regimes. In our opinion, a ration
al approach to the solution of this problem is the creation of mathema
tical models of the change in the properties of a steel as a function
of the technological factors. Such models make it possible to optimize
the technological parameters of treatment without conducting addition
al experiments.
