Abstract
Although aortic valve anatomy is three-dimensionally complex, careful echocardiographic investigation can yield surgically relevant informat ion. The promise of intravascular and transesophageal imaging is in yi elding the raw data of sufficient resolution to make the three-dimensi onal reconstruction clinically meaningful.
