Abstract
Partial substitution of La by Ag, instead of Sr, in LaMO(3) (M = Co, M n, Ni) perovskite causes a large increase in the catalytic activity of the perovskite in the complete combustion of dilute methane for its e mission control, at low temperature (< 700 degrees C) and high space v elocity (51000 cm(3) g(-1) h(-1)); Ag-doped LaCoO3 shows the highest m ethane combustion activity.
