Abstract
The Rayleigh scattering of Mossbauer radiation has been measured on hi ghly oriented fibres of Na-hyaluronate at different hydration levels. The elastic- and inelastic-scattering intensities, measured as a funct ion of the scattering vector Q, have provided information on the dynam ic structuring of the water molecules to the polysaccharidic chains.
