Abstract
The first Compumag conference was held in 1976 in Oxford, England and there have been nine conferences since then including the present meet ing in Berlin, 1995. This paper attempts to highlight the main technic al developments in computational electromagnetics during this period t hat have been reported in the proceedings of Compumag. Future trends w ill also be discussed.
