It is shown that the equation for the current flowing on a cylindrical
antenna Pocklington's integral equation - can be put into 'a standard
form' of dual integral equations, A general method for solving such d
ual integral equations is discussed, It consists of a transformation i
nto single Fredholm integral equation of the second kind with continuo
us kernel, and then into a linear system of algebraic equations by usi
ng the weighted residual method. Plots of the current along the antenn
a and of the input admittance are finally given.
