Abstract
The simulation of electromagnetic fields inside a cylindrical cavity, which is connected by a rectangular iris to a standard rectangular wav eguide is presented. The calculations for loaded and unloaded cases ar e based on a FIM algorithm. The results obtained agree closely with th ose of measurements.
