Described in this paper is the flow of a viscous, non-compressible liq
uid with a property of electric current conduction, inside a channel w
ith a rapidly expanded section, in an external magnetic field ((B) ove
r right arrow (o)). A description is made using two vector potentials
((A) over right arrow, <(psi)over right arrow>), and the vorticity vec
tor (<(xi)over right arrow>), which form a system of three simultaneou
s, quasilinear equations of the elliptic type. An approximation is app
lied by constructing an iterative, finite difference algorithm for obt
aining discrete value distribution of the above fields.
