Abstract
This paper deals with a novel algorithm for drawing contour lines in t he postprocessing of the Boundary Element Method calculations for 2D p otential problems. The basic idea is to use an adaptive approach to pr oduce a triangular mesh of higher order interpolation. Based on this m esh, the smooth equipotential map can be generated. The advantage is t hat the CPU time in the postprocessing can be greatly reduced and a gr id for drawing the equipotential map has not to be prescribed.
