In this paper the indirectly coupling time-stepping techniques using q
uasi Newton-Raphson solvers and on-line field calculations presented i
n a comparison paper [1] are extended to simulate a completely control
led switched reluctance drive. While the coupling between the electrom
agnetic and the mechanical subsystem is weak. Simulations performed fo
r a completely controlled three phase switched reluctance drive with a
nd without eccentric rotor are performed and compared.
