Abstract
Fade statistics were measured along 4095 km of expressways using a 12d Bi gain antenna with an automatic tracking system. The results show th at the line-of-sight statistics, which were available for more than 90 % of total distance, can be described by a Rician distribution with Ri cian factors of 15 to 25dB.
