Abstract
Relaxation of pBR322 form I DNA by copper(II) complex and hydrogen per oxide systems was found to be highly dependent on the chelate structur e of copper(II) complex used. This is suggesting that an active specie s for nicking DNA may be a copper(II)hydroperoxide adduct.
