Abstract
The straightforward chemo-enzymatic synthesis of methyl 9(S)-HODE (dim orphecolic acid methyl ester) and methyl 9(S)-HOTE, from linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids, using barley seeds lipoxygenase under oxygen pr essure and at high substrate concentration, is described.
