Abstract
A new WDM spectrum analyser using an optically tunable filter has been realised. The optical source is a three-electrode DBR laser diode wit h a continuous wavelength range of 13nm. The filler resolution is 0.02 nm (2.5GHz) and the polarisation dependence is <0.5dB.
