Abstract
An account is given of the experimental serial in vitro transfer of an tigen-specific delayed hypersensitivity to peripheral leukocytes, usin g antigen-specific Transfer factor solely as the initial source. Trans fer was assessed with the leukocyte migration, lymphocyte locomotion a nd leukocyte adherence inhibition tests, The positive test results obs erved in all the experiments suggest that Transfer factor does not act as such, but triggers a reaction that expands the effect of hypersens itivity.
