We set up a formalism for calculating the O(alpha(s)) corrections to t
he process ppBAR --> W+X --> taunu(tau)XBAR with spin-correlated tau d
ecays to leptons and mesons. Our results axe applicable to Monte Carlo
integration, which allows easy construction of any desired observable
at next-to-leading-log level, and the possibility to include experime
ntal cuts. Our results are applied explicitly to the decay modes tauBA
R --> nu(tau)enu(e)BAR, tauBAR --> nu(tau)pi+BAR, and tau --> nu(tau)p
i+pi0BAR; other decay modes may be included in a straightforward fashi
on. We show results for transverse momentum and rapidity variables in
leading-log and next-to-leading-log approximations; the leptonic obser
vables are compared to similar observables from direct W --> enu(e)BAR
.
