Abstract
We describe a novel reciprocal translocation, t(14;15)(q11;q24), as th e sole cytogenetic aberration in a congenital mesoblastic nephroma. Th e tumor was predominantly of ''classic'' morphology, but with Small ce llular islands of larger cells indicating early transformation to the cellular type. This is the first report of a reciprocal translocation as the sole anomaly in a congenital mesoblastic nephroma.
