Abstract
The authors present a new printed cylindrical slot antenna for GPS com mercial applications. This antenna displays compact size, low cost, ea se of mass production, near-hemispherical radiation coverage and circu lar polarisation properties. Experimental results show that the printe d cylindrical slot antenna has a 3dB beamwidth of 120 degrees and a fr ont-back ratio >15dB.
