Abstract
A four element driver array for optical gates in a 2.5Gbit/s optical A TM switch is presented. The circuit uses a GaAs/GaAlAs heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) technology. It enables a switching time of <3 00ps and current up to 150mA with <400mW per gale power consumption.
