Abstract
Our analysis of the Sydney data on extensive air showers of energy abo ve 10(17) eV has been continued and comparisons made with our analysis of data from Chacaltaya. The analysis lends support to our previous c ontention that there is a mixed composition in the range (1-10) X 10(1 7) eV and that the fraction of heavy nuclei in the primary beam is hig her in the next decade of energy: (1-10) x 10(18) eV.
