Abstract
The heparin has been grafted directly on the surface of polyurethane w ith tile help of hypothermia plasma treatment. The smooth polyurethane -heparin graft copolymer is deeped in the inside tube wall. By dotting time (CT) test fresh human blood is injected to the polyurethane-hepa rin graft tube, after 5 days and nights there isn't any thromb in the inside tube wall. By kaolin partial thromboplastin time (KPTT), prothr ombin time (PT) and thrombin time (TT) tests to these polyurethane-hep arin graft tubes, the results are that, this novel graft tube has anti coagulation visibly and there isn't falling free heparin from the tube wall. In infrared spectrum peaks 1 165 cm(-1) and 1 339 cm(-1) are sy mmetric and antisymmetric stretch vibrations of SO2 group in new coval ent bond N-SO2 or O-SO2.
