Abstract
Compounds such as K(2)RbLn(PO4)(2) where Ln is Ce,...,Lu have been pre pared by solid state reaction. X-ray and vibrational analyses show two kinds of structure. one is monoclinic, such as K3Nd(PO4)(2) and the s econd is isostructural with rhombohedral K3Lu(PO4)(2). The phase trans ition produced by pressure on K2RbHo(PO4)(2) is described. A character ization of the different vibrational frequency ranges is proposed.
