Abstract
Morton's neuroma is a frequent metatarsalgia, Neuroma resection usual recommended surgical treatment, Failure rate of neurectomy can be as h igh as 14% to 21%, and treatment of recurrences is difficult. The auth ors have treated Morton's neuroma by neurolysis since 1985. They prese nt their results in a group of 40 patients with 5 years follow up. Thi rty-seven of 40 patients had an excellent result after neurolysis and 35 patients had normal toe sensitivity at the date of examination. Thi rty-nine patients stated they would undergo the operation again if nec essary.
