Abstract
Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy is used to monitor the sub -glass-transition-temperature (sub-T-g) annealing of a polycarbonate s ample. The intensity of ortho-positronium annihilation decreases as a stretched-exponential function of annealing time at T-g - 121 K. The d ata are successfully fitted to a model applied to free-volume relaxati on.
