Abstract
The concepts of histogram and co-occurrence of a digital image are pre sented here in a fuzzy set theoretic framework. The new notions incorp orate the imprecision of digital images to yield a more general and po werful representation for image processing applications. Precise ident ification of structures in texture scenes has been presented using the proposed representation to validate the claims.
