Abstract
The superimposed oscillations method for generating waves of many diff erent types was used in the laboratory to study the wave effect on the desorption of carbon dioxide from falling liquid films. The mechanism s for heat mass transfer augmentation by waves were analyzed, taking i nto consideration the processes of absorption for a dilute gas, non-is othermal absorption, evaporation, and condensation.
