Abstract
The gut associated lymphoid tissue is responsible for specific respons es to intestinal antigens. During HIV infection, mucosal immune defici ency may account for the gastrointestinal infections. In this review w e describe the humoral and cellular mucosal immune responses' in norma l and HIV-infected subjects.
