A high-throughput Raman notch filter set has been manufactured and use
d to collect the Raman scattering signals of pressure-induced phase tr
ansitions of solid benzene in a diamond anvil cell up to 15 GPa at roo
m temperature. The changes in the profiles as well as the frequencies
of Raman scattering spectra are observed and enable us to determine th
e phase transition.
