Abstract
We describe the presentation of a 16-year-old boy with locally advance d lymphangiomatosis affecting the left thigh and groin. This is a diff icult disease to both diagnose and treat, and one in which radical sur gery may be necessary to effect a cure or even palliation. In this cas e, hindquarter amputation allowed a previously wheelchair-bound teenag er to mobilize unaided.
