Abstract
This paper considers the branching process described in [7] and genera ted by an offspring distribution F with mean m and variance sigma(2), with binomial migration. We give a strong consistent estimator of sigm a(2) and a test statistics of the initial size of the population, base d on a single realization of the migration process.
