Abstract
The typical urographic and anatomic appearance of the extrarenal pelvi calyceal system of the normal ectopic kidney has been thoroughly descr ibed. We report the ultrasonographic correlate of this distinct config uration. The normal central renal sinus echo complex was absent in two thirds of the ectopic kidneys in this series. In the remaining one th ird, the sinus echo complex was eccentric.
