Jp. Voss et al., CONDUCTIVITIES OF POLY(ETHYLENE OXIDE) ALKALI SALTS WITH AROMATIC ANDHETEROCYCLIC ANIONS, Solid state ionics, 60(1-3), 1993, pp. 93-97
Complexes of PEO with the sodium salts of imidazole, benzimidazole, 2-
methylbenzimidazole, 4-phenylphenol and a mesogenic ester of benzimida
zole-5-carboxylic acid have been prepared. The latter forms a mixed or
ganised phase with its uncharged analogue. Highest conductivities (ca.
5 x 10(-4) cm-1 at 100-degrees-C) are observed with the sodium salt o
f benzimidazole; the corresponding complex with the lithium salt has a
lower conductivity (5 x 10(-5) cm-1).
