Abstract
Comb polymers having esters as pendant groups, poly(2-acetoxyethyl met hacrylate) (P2EMA) and poly(3, 8, 11-trioxa-4, 7, 12-trioxotridecanyl methacrylate) (P4EMA), have been synthesized, and ionic conductivity o f hybrid films of these polymers containing LiCF3SO3 studied as a func tion of salt concentration and temperature. Films of P4EMA exhibited h igher conductivities than those of a linear polyester, poly(ethylene s uccinate).
