We report a 17-year-old asymptomatic patient with a partially collapse
d seventh cervical vertebra due to a haemangioma revealed by conventio
nal radiographs performed for army enrolment. Given radiological evide
nce of aggressiveness, percutaneous vertebroplasty by injection of met
hyl methacrylate cement was performed to prevent complications. CT a y
ear later showed no progression of the lesion. The patient remains asy
mptomatic.
