Abstract
Studies of the linear and nonlinear optical properties of KBBF crystal were carried out. The Sellmeier's equations, which are accurate from 1.4 mu m to about 180 nm, are reported. KBBF crystal has been found to be phase matchable for second harmonic generation down to 180 nm and to possess a phase-matching retrace behavior, which just occurred in t he commercial laser region.
