Abstract
The diagnosis and treatment of throwing injuries of the elbow rely on a thorough understanding of the complex anatomy of the elbow, includin g both osseous and soft-tissue attachments. This article discusses the anatomy of the elbow, the biomechanics of throwing relating to the el bow joint, and the diagnosis and treatment of medial- and lateral-side d injuries to the elbow.
