Abstract
Water-skiing is a physically demanding sport involving highly coordina ted movements, extreme upper body torques, sustained isometric contrac tions and near maximal stresses on the anaerobic system, Due to the ph ysical demands of the sport, elite skiers have developed physiological characteristics similar to other elite athletes. However, until recen tly little research has focused on the kinesiology, physiology and phy sical conditioning of water-skiing.
