Abstract
Photodimerization of [(RuCp)(eta6-dbqm)]+PF6- 3 (Cp = eta5-cyclopentad ienyl; dbqm = dibenzo-p-quinodimethane) in solution using visible ligh t selectively afforded a stable organometallic adduct of the normally labile intramolecular photoisomer of [2.2](9,10)anthracenophane.
