SYNTHESIS OF RADIOPHARMACEUTICALS VIA ORGANOTIN INTERMEDIATES

The basic concepts and uses of organotin intermediates in the rapidly growing domain of radiopharmaceutical chemistry are reviewed. Organoti n intermediates can readily be prepared, and radiohalodestannylation i s both efficient and site selective to give labeled products in good y ields and high specific activities.
