Abstract
The presence of cholesterol crystals in the fluid of a ganglion cyst i n a patient with scleroderma appears to be a unique finding. Literatur e review failed to find any reports on the presence or relation of cho lesterol crystals and cystic fluid. The difficulty of wound healing af ter simple cyst excision in cases involving scleroderma is an importan t clinical lesson that is stressed.
