Abstract
In the past few years, knowledge of many aspects of lymphatic filarias is, a debilitating disease with serious economic and social consequenc es, has increased. This article presents the sections on diagnosis, pa thogenesis, immunopathology and protective immunity from the recently published Expert Committee's report.
