Abstract
In this paper, the small signal analysis of the LCC-type parallel reso nant converter (LCC-PRC) operating in the continuous conduction mode i s given. This analysis is based on both the state-plane diagram which has been successfully used to obtain the steady state response for res onant converters, and the Taylor series expansion. Applying perturbati on directly to the steady state trajectory, a discrete small signal mo del for the converter fan be derived in terns of the input voltage, sw itching frequency, and the converter state variables. Based on this an alysis, closed-loop form solutions for the input-to-output and control -to-output transfer functions are derived. It is shown that the theore tical and computer simulation results are in full agreement.
