J. Banys et al., PROTON GLASS BEHAVIOR IN A SOLID-SOLUTION OF GAMMA-IRRADIATED BETAINEPHOSPHATE(0.15) BETAINE PHOSPHITE(0.85), Journal of physics. Condensed matter, 8(16), 1996, pp. 245-251
Measurements of the dielectric permittivity are reported for a solid s
olution of antiferroelectric betaine phosphate(0.15) and ferroelectric
betaine phosphite(0.85) at frequencies 20 Hz < nu < 1 MHz. The freezi
ng phenomena in PB0.15BPI0.85 reveal the characteristics of a transiti
on into a dipolar glass state. The activation energy was found to be E
(b) = 525 K and an external bias field lowers this value to 513 K.
