Abstract
A thorough study of the low- temperature magnetic state of polycrystal line (Tb1/3La2/3)(2/3)Ca1/3MnO3 has been carried out, This perovskitel ike compound is an insulator at low temperatures and shows an insulato r-metal transition under magnetic field. All the measurements of its m agnetic state (magnetization, susceptibility, and neutron diffraction) are consistent with spin-glass behavior. The magnetic and electronic phase diagram for the series (TbxLa1-x)(2/3)Ca1/3MnO3 is depicted.
