Abstract
A number of salts of the amidophosphazenyl-phosphonium cation, [(NH2)P h(2) PNPPh(2)(NH2)](+) (C+), including C[SbCl6], C[SbPh(2)Cl(4)], C[Sb Ph(2)Br(4)] and the double salt C-2[SbCl6]Cl, have been synthesized. U nsuccessful attempts to dehydrohalogenate these compounds to give hete rocyclophosphazenes are described, together with the crystal structure of the double salt.
